![]() While he was technically successful as a body guard he feels like he has failed because New Zealand once again rejected Crockercorp’s rule. He wears a standard res Imperial Knight’s uniform, and he takes a huge amount of pride in it! He tries to keep it clean but isn’t adverse to getting into scuffles. He uses an unsightly war hammer that literally everyone hates, but he’s admittedly very good with it. ![]() Considering he’s been training nearly half of whole life in the Imperial Academy, it’s not too much of a surprise. He’s actually much stronger than his body type would make one think. He’s Chinese and white mixed, with vivid blue eyes. John is a rather shortish boy of 5’7” with messy black hair and thick framed glasses. “Shut the FUCK up Jake, you can’t talk about family either!!!” :large_blue_circle: John Crocker-Egbert :large_blue_circle:Īll John saw was Jake’s stupid face and all he knew was he was moving and winding back and You guys can spectate the RP here as long as you abide by all of the rules! It's got interesting and well-written characters and an intriguing mystery plot (which can be mind-screwy at times). This is a character profile for the character John Crocker-Egbert in the End of Days Warstuck RP Not actually a fanfic, but I highly recommend the "MS Paint Fan Adventure" Superego. Again, fantastic characterization, especially considering the sparse views we've had at the characters involved. Sweet without being too fluffy and/or shippy. White Moves First: because the world needs more Exiles. One of the few fics with really great characterization of Equius, who's usually just written off as "that one creepy guy". (Do not confuse with the fanadventure "Felt", which is.not good.)īite Down picks up directly after the first half of Make Her Pay, describing Equius' and Vriska's interactions as he replaces her arm. The Felt manages remind us how our favorite green torsos can be creepy enough to have been mobsters in the first place. The writing is great, just poetic enough to not be flowery. It's fairly down-to-earth, and has nice characterization - you can see Jade developing throughout the story, which is rare to see in shorter fanfics. T, English, Romance & Family, chapters: 23, words: 93k+, favs: 34, follows: 47, updated: Jun 13 published: Jan 1, 2015, John E., Karkat V., Vriska S., Terezi P. Stitching Up the Circuitboards is a lovely fic about Jade growing up isolated from society. But cannon eradin have both of those features, and both fics show a bit of the other (even if only a hint in striders edge) (eg, Striders edge eradin and hemostuck eradin are both pretty much the same as canon eradin, but hemostuck places more emphasis on his relationship with feferi (because of his low situation and mutual dependence.), and striders edge puts emphasis on the arrogant upper class tosser, cos he's been bought up in the elite. But the slight changes are usually more placing emphasis on different parts of the character, rather than changing them. You've either got to make allowances, or give up reading AUs. The thing about AU fics (particularly blood swap) is that they result in different upbringings, so characters have (slightly) different personalities. It's got brilliant characterisation (allowing for the alternate upbringings). It's a brilliant work, if you enjoy reversed hemospectrum, check out hemostucka reversed spectrum fic from two of the best authors in the fandom (urbanAnchorite and roachPatroll). In the same theme, Just Saying Get Better is really good too.īTSDLB is a kind of legend, for it's perfect karkat. It also helped a lot of people overcome their own issues. For instance this after the hearing made me tear up. It's best described by the mods themselves : "Young adults in a therapeutic setting have adventures, learn lessons and engage in sloppy makeouts." The main author knows what he's talking about, and it goes from hilarious to heart-wrenching very easily. The plot : the Homestuck cast is set in a mental care facility. It might be my favorite AU for anything ever. The writing is amazing, and the story is short, but really enjoyable.Īt the moment I'm going through Brainbent. Jack (post-bec prototyping) and Rose talk and form some sort of alliance. One of my favorites is Some Measure of Control (Notes from a doomed timeline). I enjoyed it, but it seems to have been abandoned. The fic follows them trying to organize, reuniting and what ensues. Everybody is brought back to life and the trolls wake up on earth, by groups of 4 at each kid's house. ![]() It's a fic which started before EOA5 where the scratch resets the universe without changing anything (well there are a few twists). ![]() I've read Not What We Planned On which is pretty good.
